Chef and Owner Loring Spicer started cooking as a young man in Northern Indiana outside of Chicago, Ill. He put he career on hold for several year, when he moved to Southern California, where he worked as a Costume Designer in the entertainment industry, but cooking had always been his passion. He later perused that passion and went on to graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Culinary Arts where he studied "flavors of the world". After his education, he went on to work in some of Bellevue, WA’s top restaurant kitchens, followed by time in one of the University of Washington’s large kitchens, then on Microsofts Cafe' 43 in Redmond, WA before setting out on his own to start "Spice’d for Life Personal/ Private Chef services". Spice’d for Life is a sustainable scratch personal chef service with focus on New California Cusine.
